So my daughter is cracking me up. Two days ago she discovered her lips and now loves pressing them together or sucking her bottom one in so that she looks like she has no, or very thin, lips. I have of course photographed said event. I emailed the one below to my brother yesterday which made me realize that it is not really very flattering. She is not really that chubby looking when you see her in person. This photo looks like some one has photoshoped her head onto a too small body. Poor thing. He made some comment about it looked like her eyes were sucken into holes the size of craters, but I don't think he knows what he's talking about. And no, I don't know when she will start growing hair. But I hope it isn't for ages, 'cause I like bald babies (and men too :)).
And her other thing, as of yesterday, is that she shakes her head back and forth before falling asleep. A LOT. It is extremely hard not to laugh. So far I haven't been able not to and I think it is probably encouraging her. I'm not joking, Stevie Wonder on crack. I fear it may be a post traumatic stress disorder from being swaddled her whole life. Maybe she now believes it is the only thing she can control. Naturally I will take video of this so I can laugh later in life at my leisure. And a cute picture, just so you can see that her head really isn't that big. Although now that I look at it... I think I need to try and get her neck in the picture next time.
