Jan had thought he'd been in London today, so it kind of turned into a surprise day off which we took full advantage of. In the morning we did lots of admin, like get registered with the local barrio here, and put Halía and myself on as dependents for access to the public health care, and visit his consulate. We were quite impressed with ourselves.

And then we went down to the port, where they were having a big exhibition of bazillion dollar boats. It was quite fun, and we enjoyed a lovely lunch at a restaurant and watched the 'other half' being served lunch onboard by their crew. There is also a new 2-person round the world race which is leaving from Barcelona, so we checked out those boats as well. All in all very relaxing and like a mini holiday.

The best bit is at the end of it, Halía gets this look on her face. We call it the 'where the hell are they taking me now' expression. Cracks me up. Because she just looks so much like she is tolerating us.

And then she falls asleep with her hand in mid air, which I'm sure counts as a talent.
And just to prove the weather was so lovely...
